First thing anyone should know about me, is that I’m very blunt and compromising. I’ll call things how I see it, but I carefully do not hold back. I can keep secrets of others, but I’m terrible at keeping my own, meaning it’s so rare of me to lie. People would call me insensitive, but if I’m in the wrong, I’ll call myself out and correct my mistakes. If i see things differently i’ll state my opinion, and also be openminded. Some people don’t like it, they’ll take it the wrong way, and some people don’t mind. The only people who are mad at me for speaking the truth are those people who are living a lie. But it’s just me, I like being honest, and what comes with honesty is loyalty, knowing to stay true to my word. Words could kill, all in all truth hurts. But its better to be slapped with the truth, than kissed with a lie.
Happy Thanksgiving to all,
What i’m truly grateful for:
God – love, forgiveness, my strength, for the food we received today, for being the author and finisher of my faith, blessings in this life I live.
Family – Dad, mom, my siblings I’m forever surrounded by laughter, honesty, kindness, care, and unconditional love.
Boyfriend – Most patient person to me during our 5 year ongoing relationship, having he warmest sweetest heart, being so understanding, one of the most hardest working person I’ve ever met, and accepting all of me and my imperfections.
Friends – the ones with the best advice, who truthfully have my back whenever, the ones who keep secrets the safest, the ones that keep me close no matter how long we don’t see each other, and for all the sympathetic pick-me-ups.
Last Sunday, November 19th 2017 at church Pastor preached in honor of the upcoming holiday of Thanksgiving.
We turned our pages in the bible to Thessalonians Chapter 5, Verse 18 and what it says is “Give thanks in all circumstances for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”
What I understood was that in life we shouldn’t just give thanks in what we want and receive from God, but we should also be grateful for the things we don’t want, and don’t receive from him. So with that being said I am so thankful for god in general, so thankful that my faith is strengthened.
Using this blog as an advantage to rant, vent, preach, state opinions and anything else that comes to mind throughout my daily little life. I chose to call this blog Peace Of Mind, because changing thoughts into actual words, is just that -peaceful, mindful- the absence of worry. All that is posted could be personal, relatively important, or it could be totally out of context. This is me writing my vista.
